The Crenshaw Mafia are well known in Inglewood, California, but they are also well known in movies. The Crenshaw Mafia Gangster Bloods have made cameos in a lot of hit, hood movies, ranging back to the 1990s.

Growing up I was fascinated with gang culture and how it was portrayed in the movies and on TV. The news and media do a good job in showing how dangerous and violent gangs really are, especially in the news.

In movies and television on the other hand, it really glorified it and made it seem like being gangster was cool.

And this is true even until this day.

Shows like Power, Peaky Blinders, The Godfather, Boardwalk empire, Narcos, The Untouchables, etc really glorify how cool being a gangster really is.

For that we will always love the entertainment, it brings to the big and small screen.
